KFC
In Fall of 2022, I took GC 3610, Client Relations Management, which examines the unique combination of marketing, branding and strategic communication necessary for universities and other non-profit organizations to create and grow an army of advocates for their cause. For the course final, we were assigned groups to create a skit of the creation of an existing ad showcasing the relationship of the client and ad agency, team dynamic, and creative process. Additionally, the team was responsible for creating a campaign that complimented the chosen ad.
Our group selected the ad that KFC created when they ran out of chicken. As you could imagine, customers were not happy. In our skit, we communicated the urgency of the situation, as a quick response was needed to ease the minds of angry customers.
